Pamela Tinkham, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Yoga Psychotherapist and a Health Fitness Specialist from the American College of Sports Medicine. She holds a BA in Dance from Butler University and a MSW from Fordham University. She obtained her Clinical Social Work License in New York State and Connecticut in 2004 which enabled her to go into private practice and to also supervise beginning therapists. Pamela was certified as a Yoga teacher in 2012 and has continued to work with and learn from the world’s leading experts in Yoga Psychotherapy through her continuing education courses. Pamela works as a Yoga Psychotherapist, Life Coach, Spiritual Counselor, Reiki Master, Weight Control Coach and Fitness Consultant.
In 2007, Pamela created Mind Body Fitness, LLC which is a company that incorporates Yoga, Fitness, and Meditation with Mental Health. Pamela has a private practice in North Stamford, CT where she treats teenagers and adults. In 2009 Pamela became a Reiki Master and she uses Reiki as an adjunct treatment to helping people get through difficult times. "I try to work with each client holistically where the mind, body and spirit are paid close attention to. I go wherever there is an opportunity for growth and I continue to encourage my clients to follow their dreams, their passions, and their hearts".
